My name is Bunny Hauser and I'm currently a manicurist in my fourteenth year at Cartel Salon.  I started in the beauty industry twenty-eight years ago, earning my manicurist license from Golden West College in Huntington Beach, Ca.  I never had to look for employment because the manager of the Nail Faire Salon in Tustin came to the school and offered me a job when I graduated.  I worked there for two years and, feeling limited, followed with eight years at the Hair Saloon & Nail Bar in the traffic circle of Orange.  The salon was a very casual environment but I was very excited to have the opportunity to buy my own salon.  At Elite Nails (a nails only salon) two blocks north of Cartel, I had ten employees and we were very busy.  I enjoyed the challenge of salon ownership but soon realized (as many first time owners do) how time consuming and difficult it could be handling finances, advertising, retention, management and retail, etc.  After six years of business, weighing the pros and cons, I decided to close the doors on my business.  When looking at my options I had the opportunity to meet with Ray Adame, owner of Cartel Hair Salon in North Tustin.  It didn't take long for me to realize that joining their team would meet my and my employee's needs.   As a large well establish salon, it met my criteria including: advanced education, a professional environment and employees, incredible esthetics, and staff and management that felt more like a family, all of which more than exceeded my expectations.  With so many opportunities to grow at Cartel, in a few short years I would join management and really get to learn about the beauty business from such a dedicated, progressive thinking and successful owner...for which I will be forever grateful.

My name is Charmaine.  I've enjoyed twenty eight years in the beauty business and fifteen of those years I was a salon owner.  After closing my shop in 2006 I looked for a salon that was stable, professional and fun.  Cartel Salon provided that for me.  I was delighted to find it was also home to other former salon owners.  I have a great deal of respect for how Ray and Lori run their salon.  They have successfully merged all aspects of the industry under one roof.  Being a forward thinking business team I know exciting times are ahead.

I am Shoshana.  I have been involved and working in the skin care field for over fifty years.  The last thirty-five I've had my own establishment, Shoshana, a full service salon, located at Enderle Center in Tustin.. At one point, I had thirty-five professionals working with me.  My husband, Arnie, and I worked diligently to provide the ultimate beauty services for our clients.

Three years ago we decided to downsize our business and relocated Shoshana to Cartel Salon.

I selected Cartel Salon because of its longevity, reputation, it is a full service salon and for its convenient location.  Prior to the opening of Shoshana I was a client of Cartel Salon.  At Cartel Salon I continue to provide the finest skin care products and services, including anti-aging treatments, microdermabrasion, eyebrow shaping and waxing.
